Where do I fit?

Are you struggling with feelings of inadequacy? A sense of being different and not belonging? Well, look at these horses. They are uniquely different but stand tall and powerful in their perfect place of belonging within the herd. Each knows his or her place and adjusts to accommodate the uniqueness of the other.

As followers of Christ, we are each uniquely different, yet belong to a spiritual family. We are one body under the Head, which is Christ. We each have a unique, divine assignment, a call, a mandate on our lives created before we were formed in our mother's womb.

We are chosen, set apart, and fashioned by the hand of the Master Potter. We are delicate and precious, yet powerful and adorned with an eternal beauty that reflects the Creator. The more we surrender to Christ and His will for our lives, the more we are fashioned in a likeness that demonstrates agape love in all we do.

Agape love heals, transforms, redeems, and restores. The broken pieces shattered by life's trials no longer exist. Instead, a new creation, full of hope, joy, and peace, emerged during refining and shaping, which is rare, more substantial, and positioned to transform the darkness and bring His Marvelous Light.

Jesus demonstrated agape love throughout His ministry. The love of Jesus heals all wounds, breaks every addiction, and cures every illness or disease. The Word of God never fails, and the love of God is so evident throughout the Word of God. Scripture guides us into all Truth.

Healing and abundant life are ours as followers of Christ, as believers. The love of Jesus clothes us with protection, peace, and promises of divine health all the days of our lives.

As we are shaped and molded by the Potter, we become vessels filled with humility, compassion, mercy, and grace; like Jesus, we reflect agape love to a world that desperately needs hope.

What do you see when you look at the canvas of your life? Does the unique masterpiece you have become speak of agape love? Does the paint color chosen include a diversified array of hues, or does it exclude some? After all, we get to create the world we want to see.

God spoke the world into existence. Are you creating a beautiful masterpiece or a portrait of lies painted by the devil's hand? You are unique, blessed, highly favored, a royal priesthood, seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Does your life mirror this Truth? Do you believe in YOU?

Christ came to give us abundant life, free from the wages of sin and the curse of the law. Jesus came to set us free. Create a canvas of love, hope, and joy, not one filled with dark colors of despair, torment, defeat, hopelessness, pain, or sickness. Create the world you want to see; after all, He will give you the desires of your heart when you surrender your will for His.
